With Sharesies's expansion into the Australia market, we needed to understand AU customer's investment needs further to compete with other local investment app. To collect qualitative and quantitative feedback, we have decided to create an in-app feature request module for customers to suggest feature they would like to see on Sharesies.
This page was initially shown on the AU Sharesies app only but it has now been implemented into the NZ app as well after a year.
• It is required by law in Australia that financial institution must get back to customer's complaint within 24 hours. To mitigate the risk of customers using the feature request module page to raise any complaint, I worked closely with the content designer to come up with guidance that emphasises the page is not intended for complaints plus pointing them to the right location.
• To ensure efficiency in development, I worked with the design system designer to discuss the best component use for this design.
